Turkey skewers are a nice change from chicken. Tasty & healthy and perfect for summer!
Makes approximately 4 servings
Preparation time is approximately 5 minutes
Cooking time is approximately 15 minutes
Ingredients
4 turkey breasts, cut into cubes
Olive oil
Salt
Frozen veg
Ground onion
Ground garlic
Oregano
Smoked paprika
Rice (to serve)
How to make Turkey Skewers
Preheat oven to 180C.
Add the rice to a salted pan of boiling water.
Heat the oil in a pan and add the fillets whole.
Add the spices and salt and cook until browned.
Put into the oven (transfer to an ovenproof dish if necessary) and cook for 5 minutes.
Add the frozen veg to the rice.
Let the meat rest while you drain the rice and veg.
Chop into pieces and add to the skewers (or can just add to the rice if you don't have any skewers).
HINTS & TIPS
To cook quicker, chop into pieces before cooking.
