Privacy Policy

This document applies to all Cooking Good employees, contractors, partners, volunteers and clients.

What data do we collect?

Health-works collects and stores limited data on clients (the end recipients of services) in relation to the Cooking Good project. This includes: Personal identification information (Name, email address, phone number, address, composition of family, dietary requirements).

Health-works also collects data on organisations and contact details of professionals, contractors and volunteers engaged with the Cooking Good project. This includes: Personal identification information (Name, email address, phone number, job role, postal or work address).

 

How do we collect your data?

We collect data and process data when you share your contact details with us via email or receive it via a third party, such as the volunteer bureau or delivery partner organisation.

Other ways we collect data are: Clients complete monitoring data and evaluation forms. Partners and others voluntarily complete a customer survey or provide feedback on any of our message boards or via email.

 

How will we use your data?

Health-works collects this data so that we can keep in contact with you about day to day activities, pay staff, reimburse volunteers expenses, share news about the projects or related information with clients and volunteers.

Health-works will not share your data with any other companies or agencies without your permission. Where we work in partnership with other organisations any data shared, such as customer feedback, will be anonymous.

 

How do we store your data?

Health-works securely stores your data on a secure server.  This is based at the company address. Client feedback data and evaluation forms are kept in a locked filing cabinet and any data synthesized from them for monitoring purposes is added to a spreadsheet.

Health-works will keep your data for as long as we have a relationship with the you, and up to six months once you cease being a client, unless required to retain your information by law (for instance in a safeguarding situation or criminal investigation). Once this time period has expired, we will delete or fully anonomise your data.

 

Any data shared with any partners, such as customer feedback, will be anonymous.

You will be asked if you want us to hold your details for marketing purposes.

The right to access - You have the right to request copies of your personal data.

​

The right to rectification - You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request Health-works to complete information you believe is incomplete.

The right to erasure - You have the right to request that Health-works erase your personal data, under certain conditions.

​

The right to restrict processing - You have the right to request that Health-works restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

​

The right to object to processing - You have the right to object to Health-works processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

​

The right to data portability - You have the right to request that Health-works transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
